FMC put side scoops on the later models (2004 ish?) that are wider and not angled so poorly as the stock ones on my 99. The wider scoops "straighten" out the awkward angle Ford has made on the body of the car. The body angles down to the nose and the side lines are angled up. This gives the body a contracdictory appearance.
I've called FMC and of course, they were no help. My parts counter pusher at the local Ford dealer says it can't be done. But then again, that's their answer for everything that isn't in the book.
Isn't life great when this is all I have to complain about?
