sure but you have to use all the computer stuff and wiring from the lincoln.

You could. However, check yearone.com and see if they have an EFI kit for a 289, that will be cheaper than swaping the motor. If it is a 302 block then you shouldnt have a problem with it going into the car.

Keep in mind that your going to have to do a lot more to make it EFI than just change the motor.

Updated swaps like this are almost common any more. You will need the computer brain box and associated wiring for the 5.0 but yes, it is done all the time.
