The front o2 sensors should be placed in the collectors. I have no idea why you would have a hole further up the primaries and I have no experience with these headers. Is it like this on both sides?

Yes sir it's like that on both sides and like I said I had no idea they were up there either and honestly don't know if they were there when I first got the headers or if the shop that I got them installed in did it but the car was fine when I got the headers in back in February and just recently started acting up. The shop I took it to were a little tripped out about it too because they hadn't seen anything like it

The o2's that you see in the collectors should be further down in the exhaust. You can see in the pic where it's capped off. Those are for the cats.

So the hole where I have the sensor up in the primary should not be there? And u should put the sensor in the collector

I'm astonished that you didn't have problems immediately.

If I have this straight, that is both the upstream and downstream 02 sensors on that one primary.
It looks like the upstream sensor should be installed in the bung that is currently plugged.

After looking at it again, I think that your upstream sensor should go where, I assume, your downstream sensor is currently located, in the collector. The downstream sensor should be installed in the bung that is currently plugged. Then put the plug in the bung on the primary.

I'm not sure what you mean sir? There is one sensor on one primary and the other is in the collector are you saying the sensors shouldn't be in either of those?

I will try that. Thank you

No.
I'm sorry about that first post.
Like Grabber said, the upstream 02 sensor that is currently in the primary tube, near the head, needs to be moved to the collector. The downstream sensor, that is currently located in the collector, needs to be moved to the bung that is currently plugged.

I'm assuming that you don't have cats installed?

No I do not have cats. I could just plug up the holes for the rear sensors correct? Or do I still need those?

They aren't necessary if you don't have cats and you aren't worried about passing an emissions test.
Correct on everything.

My car is just going to **** lol one more problem I'm noticing is that when I go fill up at the gas station (93 octane) the car takes a few tries before it starts and when it does it starts as if it was cammed, very lopey and I immediately have to give it gas otherwise it will die...Wtf!! Pretty embarrassing too lol could this be a sensor problem as well??

This is what I meant when I said that I was surprised that these problems didn't show up immediately.
Your engine is trying to run on 02 information that is only being gathered from two cylinders. Normally, each of the upstream 02 sensors like to have information coming from all 4 cylinders on that bank so that they can send an average reading to the PCM.
Hopefully, once you get the 02 sensors squared away, and the PCM begins to get a complete picture of how to manage the engine, all of your driveability problems will disappear.

OP I had a somewhat similar issue after installing my longtubes so this is my 2 cents. As stated before make sure the o2 extensions are removed they are not needed. I see you replaced the faulty sensors already, so in order to avoid them burning out again have the o2 bungs relocated on the collector at a downward angle. I only had the 2197 p code on mine, and did these things and havent had a code or trouble since. if you need pics of the relocated bungs let me know and ill post them up for you. I also went with a Lund tune just for a little peace of mind.

I changed the 02 sensors down to the collectors and the idling seems to have gotten better it still does it a little bit but nowhere near as much. However I now have another code showing up. P1450 unable to bleed up fuel tank. It's one thing after another on this Damm car

I Started the car and went to see if I heard anything unusual like a leak but I can't hear anything out of the ordinary but I noticed this. If you look closely you can see one of those pipes is bent pretty bad. Could that be the cause???
