I decided to take my foxbody for a ride yesterday since I haven't driven it in a good month, since last time I had it out I swapped the carb to a Holley 650 double pumper. When I first tried starting her up it took a little but fired up after a few turns. Then I shut her off for a little and she fired up again fine. Idle was a little high but I took it around the block and when I went to punch it it started cutting out around 2600rpms. It sounded like I mixed up some of the spark plug wires like I have done before lol. I pulled over got the firing order out of my haynes book and fixed em all. After that it barely started and wouldn't run and sounded like it was running on half the cylinders. My friend said it sounded like my timing was way off. Now it won't even fire up at all, I know I'm getting gas, spark, and air but it for some reason won't run at all. I'm completely lost. Been trying to figure it out and asked around but no one knows what it is.

Na that's what I don't get I didn't even touch the dist at all really. But if the timing was way off would it prevent it from firing up at all?
Yes, make sure the bolt that holds your dist is still tight and if you can turn your distributor by hand. You can however fire up 180 out I believe but run like complete dog crap.
