Car washing

I decided to buy myself a car washing set and I was putting it together and trying different peices, and it has a soap dispenser option in the brush. Anyways, I read the instructions and it said use "car soap" not household detergents, so what kind of soap can I use? Ad where do I get it? Those who wash their cars at home, let me know what soap you use! Thanks

Yeah do not use household soap, it literally strips the wax off your car. If you're going to clay bar then you can use some Dawn because you have to wax it after anyway and it helps to have the clearcoat stripped before the a clay bar. But definitely don't use dawn as a regular wash soap.

I use OReilly car soap and it has worked well. I'll probably get some legite soap for after my clay bar and wax in a few weeks.
