While browsing the endless pages of the internet I have either missed carbon fiber accessories, or no one makes any. I saw a post earlier on the forum here in which someone found a manufacturer for carbon doors, fenders, hood, trunk, etc. That got me thinking; a few accent carbon fiber parts would look good on a 99-2004 Mustang.

I can find billet accessories, but I have not found anything in carbon fiber.

A Mach 1 chin price / splitter might look good on my Mineral Gray Mustang. The Roush splitter could look good also, especially with carbon side skirts.

In my conceptual brainstorming I considered a carbon blackout for the trunk, but that would look ridiculous in my opinion. I have seen carbon gas cap lids, and that didn't seem to fit in terms of appearance. It could have been due to the fact that this was the only carbon seen on the car.

The interior is where I believe carbon fiber would really look good. Carbon dash parts such as the cluster bezel, shifter housing, and center dash (stereo surround) would add a nice accent to an aging interior. Carbon inserts for the door panels, as well as carbon handles and housings would look good. Carbon door sills to replace the plastic pieces could also wake things up.

I'm rambling and thinking. I would like to find some of those parts of they are being made. It's possible that these parts are already in production.

I've done some work with carbon fiber and I'm about to start making parts for my '16. If I get setup good I might start making parts to sell. I could either skin a part or mold a whole new one. I would just have to have the part to either skin it or make a mold

I have built fiberglass parts before. Fiberglass does not have to retain that gorgeous weave carbon fiber does. Something tells me there is an art to carbon.
