A 750 will probably serve, but depending on how much power it makes a larger one may be needed. You used to be able to get a 750 Holley Dominator carb, but I'm not sure they still make them.

That's a good price if your engine makes enough power to use it. I'd probably buy it and try it because you should be able to resell the carb easily if it turns out to be to big. :good:
You could probably make it work with some judicious tuning. :good:

I would also pick up a jet kit. If it is to big you maybe able to jet it down. There are also some other mods you can do to help. I recommend a book that trojan once recommended to me. It's called "super tuning holleys" it will have any information you could ever want to get the carb running good or modifying it.

demons are great carbs, especially for high hp. but they are way more of a pita to tune then a holley unless you have lots of experience with them.,:good:

Yep it's a very good, information packed book. There may be some newer and better out these days, but if so I haven't found them yet. This book guided me through literally dozens of carb builds and issues when I was running carbs. :good::good:

You will want to build you a box of carb parts, with jets as dream mentioned along with squirters, fuel pump cams, gaskets, o-rings, etc.,etc.
I ended up just buying a pre-boxed kit that had compartments for all the goodies. Easier and probably cheaper in the long run. I still have mine, even though I haven't had a carbed engine for a long time now. May donate it to a museum some day.
