the cheapest route is to buy a used motor from a salvage yard, any 89-95 Thunderbird Super Coupe will work and they can be bought for less than a thousand..

first of all

supercharging a v6 is a very risky move because the engine is not built to withstand as much power as HO V8's are because of they way they are built.

my suggestion is sell the car and get a 5.0

it would actually be cheaper than making your engine compatable for a supercharger.

but if you want to supercharge, i suggest complete a complete engine overhaul with forged parts.

Ebay has a nice turbo kit on there but if you are going to do that or s/c the engine wont hold up too long. 3.8's are bad to blow head gaskets sling bearings and bust intakes. I would get a nice No2 setup and run a 50 shot on it.

I believe it would be a Kenne Bell supercharger (M90?) and the adapter that would hook this up to a 3.8L.

The later 3.8L v6 is solid.

Good luck.
