The check engine light came on. My ford racing tuner said "crankshaft position system variation not learned" Does anybody know what that means? Is it serious or can I just clear the DTC code?
You need to do the crank relearn which you can actually do with your pro cal. Clearing the code will result in it returning more than likely. But the bigger question is why did it come on? Any recent work done like a clutch or something along those lines?
With your pro cal there is a setting for relearn. You hit it and rev up the motor past 3500 rpm and it should automatically turn off your light. It's pretty easy, just look for it on the pro cal.
