Hey guys I have a 05 mustang GT I bought about a year ago, I lowered it two weeks ago and have constantly had a clear clunking noise going over the slightest bumps. Upgraded to a gt500 style strut mount. Replaced tie rods and everything else seems to be fine. Its also started while in the middle of a turn. I can’t figure out where it’s coming from. Any thoughts?

Definitely sounds like the strut mount(s), but you said that you replaced them. Check the bolt torque on those to make sure they are adequately tight.

What springs did you use? Did you replace the struts as well, or are they stock? How many miles on the car? Did the clunking start immediately after you lowered the car or did it take time to develop?
