Full bolt ons such as lt headers , mid pipe, bigger camshaft, pulleys, charge motion delete, and a good dyno tune should be anywhere from 350 - 380 rwhp

The FRPP intake manifold is just for looks on a NA 3V. Do FRPP TB, cams, and any long tube header that isn't BBK or Pypes. I went with JBA.

The main point of the intake manifold is to increase the redline to 7600 RPM. The FRPP cams (on factory valve train) can only safely rev up to 6800 RPM. Unless you upgrade the factory valve train, it's useless.

And then... Your factory heads are choking that high up in RPMs. That's where performance heads would help out. Have fun dishing out $1,600 per head or paying someone to modify your factory ones.

On the side note of BBK... You pay for what you get. Look at their headers and tell me if they look like a true performance header, or just a half-assed and stretched-out exhaust manifold.

So out of all these mods would you safely suggest cams long tubes and throttle body

Yes.

I personally only did cams and LTs but I may eventually do the FRPP throttle body. Our master @ my shop who installed my cams recommended it, but I bought a new set of wheels instead. May get it later.

I would say roughly 345-355 hp woth the mods you have listed

I'd say more-so on the 345 side.

Do you feel the difference in power with just that

I did cams first. Only noticeable increase in power in the higher RPMs. After doing LTs, holy sh*t. Really woke the car up.

I've heard LTs alone add a noticeable bite. I just did the cams first for sound.

And is that power supposed to be with the manifold

Here is some data I recorded I while ago from a Mustang performance magazine who did 8 engine dyno tests on a 4.6 3V motor with various FRPP parts. These are CRANK / BHP numbers. Not RWHP.

FRPP CAI, FRPP TB, LTs + O/R X-Pipe
360 HP @6,000 RPM
351 TQ @5,000 RPM

Same mods + FRPP IM
366 HP @6,000 RPM
350 TQ @5,000 RPM

As you can see, a whopping 6 HP and 1 FT LB loss with the IM.
