Hello fellas!!!
This is my first post ive got 4 mustangs an 84 coupe 3.8 to 5.0 swap,an 89 lx coupe 2.3 to 5.0 swap,96 coupe 4.6 with a vortech v1,and the car in question a 95 coupe converted to carb.
Anyways i recently picked up the 95 and put in a new clutch flywheel and got it going.i decided to do a compression test and got
#1= 165
#2=160
#3= 155
#4= 160
#5= 165
#6= 155
#7= 160
#8= 135
#8 has me a little worried.i squirted a little 10w30 in it and it jumped 165psi so im assuming its rings.
The car has a supposedly recently rebuild on it with only 7k on it and its been descently modded with a 96 explorer 302,pro comp 210cc heads,pro comp aussie 1.6 rr's,arp studs,vic jr intake,x303,650 dp,motorsport shorties,upr x pipe,flowmaster 40's and dumps,ram hdx clutch,Richmond 4.10's,pro comp hei.
I searched the forum and found that ford says if the cylinder is within 75% of the highest reading then its ok that would mean 75% of 165 would be 123 psi is this cylinder an issue?
