Has anyone replaced their convertible top on their own? I don't want to take it to a upholstery shop, to expensive.

U can buy them of AM and install urself. That's what I was going to do.
I already got it from AM top and back glass. At a good price too. But a shop wants to charge me 800 for the install with no guarantee because it's not their stuff. So I wanna try to install my self.

Same here..someone here on ME said they got they paid 500$ for labor and new top. That's a damn good price, I'd jump on it if I could find someone near me to do it

My dad installed my brothers convertible top on his 95' about 2 months ago.. He's been fixing and messing with cars for 35 years, and he said it was the largest pain in the butt in his entire life! I have the top and glass so Me and him are going to install mine soon on my 01'.. He's not looking forward to it lol. I'm also in jersey and the stops are extremely expensive. He said he was actually thinking about paying the $700 to get mine put on lol
