Stock airbox with the paper filter. Spend your money elsewhere, get a Lund tune, full exhaust, suspension and shifter (or stall if auto).

None have any performance gains. They are for looks and sound only. Pick the one you think looks best and fits within your budget.

As everyone else has said; Ford did a great job engineering the air intake system on the Mustang. It is a factory cold air intake.

There are several factors to consider when changing to an aftermarket intake. First, you will more than likely introduce more heat to the air drawn by the engine. You are getting engine bay temperatures, plus heat soak if you have a metal intake tube. This leads to horrible air quality, and a less than optimal air/fuel ratio.

You will also be feeding the intake with hot air that is passing through the cooling fins of the radiator and condenser. You can go with an inner fender design, but you will not see any noticeable gains. You also risk drawing in rain water depending upon where the filter is in the fender.

A cold air intake is only beneficial when you upgrade the size of the MAF, throttle body, plenum, etc. You will need a tune to compensate for more air, and then you will see a power gain.

If you add better flowing heads with longer cam duration you will be able to further utilize an aftermarket intake.

I'm not even going to get started on exhaust systems.
