it will b a super tight squeeze. u need a "k-member" from a 96-03 4.6 stang, convert your power brakes to manual cause there is no room for the power booster.

you can buy an aftermarket k-member with shorter motor mounts. the 5.4 will stick up quite a bit out of the engine bay. u may be happier with a 4.6 4v for that application.

anyway.... it will fit and has been done before to answer your question.

There's the key. They can be made to fit, but it's not going to be cheap.
