I hit a pole today during this blizzard because this trailblazer was driving on my side of the damn road and I had to swerve. The guy didn't even stop he just kept goin, luckily I'm okay. And luckily my stang is sitting in the garage. And it was my moms car. Theres not alot of damage only the passenger rear quarter, but still the guy didnt stop to see if I was okay and that pisses me off $400 out of my gt fund. :(

Stop!

File a criminal report.

In most States not stopping at the scene of an accident, as a witness or participant, constitues a Hit and Run.

As such, your insurance agency may cover the full expense, including deductible, as this is a criminal offense. Did you get any information on the vehicle such as plate, make, model, year, color etc?

You do not have to be physically involved in an accident to be at fault and you are required to remain at the scene, exchange information etc. Anything less constitutes a Hit and Run, or at the very least, Fleeing The Scene.

Call the cops!

+1, although nothing like this has ever happened to me I always have video going in my car in case something does happen.
Insurance will cover all of it my dad just told me, and my dads buddy is a cop and he called and told him.
Good stuff.

Still worthwhile to get those oblivious, entitled drivers off the roads eh?

Uh... I just Canada'd myself. I dunno what's that all aboot.
Haha but I hope it gets all fixed I feel very guilt.
