Hey everyone, havent been on the forum in a while thought i would share this. I was looking up rear chassis strut tower braces and they are crazy expensive so why not make one yourself?

I cut a piece of metal to length drilled two holes then welded another piece on top for strength. I also heated the metal and dipped it in water to strengthen it. Lastly i painted it black. Overall project cost me $15. Stiffens the rear nicely

I will say youll want to add a piece of metal to brace it against the shock tower...because just using a single eyelet puts alot of strain on the shock bolt.

Lol thats why nobody buys them but builds them. There was a v6 guy that went to a trailer company and asked them to weld him up one...ran him $30 in scrap metal and labor.
