I thought she was full Quarter horse

but she is SUPER flighty like a mustang! I love mustangs sooo much so i know a mustang when i see one, and i love they way they think, and they way they are.

but my mare she won't let anyone touch her but me! She is super smart, and i'm training her and it's a breeze, but she is so shy of humans, and doesn't want anyone in her space, she only lets me pet her.. I can touch her anywhere and everywhere (she is still not so sure about the feet, but we're making progress!)

she is 3 years old
and i have had her for about a month

and did i mention i love her so much!!! =D

so what do you think??
mustang mix? or just a qh? the previous owners got her from an auction, and no one knows anything about her parents!

here is what she looks like - isnt she cute? but i just want to know what horse breeds she looks like!! i wish i knew!!! ah!!

In all reality it is pretty much impossible for us to tell by a few pictures. Even if we saw this horse in person we wouldn't be able to tell.

Mustangs are a breed that is not bred by breeders, but rather by mother nature. Natural selection choose the mates, despite whatever conformation or coloring each partner has. Due to this mustangs can be small and refined, or huge and draft-like. Mustangs come in all shapes and sizes, and colors too. So really there is no way for us to tell.

Taking an educated guess, even though it is just a gamble to listen to anyone's aswer, I would say she does not have mustang in her. Typically mustangs sometimes have a "jug head", and she seems to have a rather nice head. Also she seems to have decent conformation, not like mustangs. This is just going by generalizations of the breed, so its just a guess.

Cute horse though.

i'm not experienced with horses but i decided i'd tell you she's gorgeous and i hope you take care of her. also, i love how you DDONNT have barbwire! people in pa, are so mean, the one up the road got his leg stuck in it and the owners werent home for the week and the person wouldnt be there till the morning so i had to ride the fourwheller up the road and un tangle that, it was so gross .

Yes she is beautiful *__* you are lucky young miss.

She does look mustang like, what is her age? If she is pretty wild maybe. But green horses are usually like that--unless they have been around humans since they were foald. I'd say you are pretty right on your assumption. Nice you got one of your favorite breeds as your horse. Keep on keeping on that training, she's a fine horse.
