Dont Know What Gas Cap To Get
It's time for me to get a gas cap but idk If I should get the cap that locks or the one that doesn't. The one that locks is $20 and some change and the one that doesn't lock is $14 and some change. I don't know what I should do. And yes it's a dumb thread lol. I care where my money goes. Lol

DON'T GET A LOCKING ONE!!!!! I purchased a locking one, than a month later I got a code for gas cap leak..bought another locking cap and about 2 months later the code came back, so pissed hahaha

And living here in jersey it is SUPER annoying having to hand the gas attendant your keys when you get gas, and gas attendants don't give a **** so when they go to open the cap your keys are swinging under the fuel door scratching up the paint if you get what I mean

I mean it's the law to not pump gas but you won't get in trouble because I pump my own all the time. Well idk if you'll get in trouble but I haven't and I've been doing it for 3 years
Locking caps are a pain!
+1m ^ Locking gas caps blow. I was getting the code recently on my locking gas cap and was having a hard time unscrewing it to get it off. It kept on ratchiting and not grabbing.Locking caps are a pain!
So last week I stopped to get gas and it took me 20 minutes to get that piece of crap off sitting at the pump :banghead:.
I went straight home after that mess and put my stock fuel cap back on that I had kept and threw that locking turd with the keys in the trash. :headbang:
Youll never really see someone pump there own gas up here cuz you cant, gas attendants either have to swipe there card or enter a code to activate the pump.. all the gas stations have signs that clearly state "pumping your own gas in against the law"..I mean it's the law to not pump gas but you won't get in trouble because I pump my own all the time. I live on CA and we pump our own gas?!?!? And what are you talking about you can have a CAI in CA???
Talking about jersey how we don't pump our own gas..and uhhh in CA you can't have a CAI by law! There are certain CAI that are legal in Cali but it has to have some kind if sensor or part or somethingI live on CA and we pump our own gas?!?!? Hey during the winter time or rain I don't mind them pumping my gas for me And we pay less than gas than all you guys combined XD
