Was up playing on the Dragon and Cherohala Skyway on 9/11, Had to go around the RT Charger and 2 Mustangs on the Skyway that thought they were fast but had some fun Slaying the Dragon

You live fairly close to Deal's Gap don't you?

I put about 300 miles on going there running across the Skyway and up and down the Dragon. Deals gap is roughly 60-65 miles and I am on the other side of the Mountains so the fastest way for me is across the Dragon.
Best time to go is night, you can see headlights coming for a long way.
I used to go up to Azusa Canyon, Santiago Canyon, Ortega Highway and Angeles Crest Highway with my 1973 Cougar XR7 when I lived in So Cal many many moons ago (left in 1994).
