So here's the cost of drifting. I curb checked my wheel at 60mph mid slide. I got a nice rash in the wheel and a chunk taken out of the tire. My alignment is a little off and I may have bent a control arm.

I touched up the bare metal areas with some Rustoleum and my rear tires are completely bald.

All and all, this is about what I expected. The rim, although a bit chewed will still serve well as a drift wheel.
Sick bro ..your lca should be fine. Nothing but cosmetics and that's expected from drifting !! :good:

You know what's funny? I wasn't the only one to hit that curb. But I was the only American car to hit it and continue drifting the rest of the day. All the 240's and 350z's, once they hit, their day was over. The build quality of the mustang is far superior to the imports I was running with.
Lol yea its far superior but also thicker and higher grade. I've bent rods broken axles plenty of times . But that hit proves the quality of the suspension on the stangs
