When I have the time and place. There's not a lot of places here. And events are too few.

The only tweak I do on any car I setup for drift is coil overs, camber plates and adjustable control arms. Negative camber will help you corner while sliding.

Well, more less it depends on your ride and your driving habits, how you shift the weight, etc. My Mustang has the OEM 35mm hollow sway bars, my front Lca's are plated at the bottom for reinforcement. Tubular would be better especially if they are adjustable. I still need subframe connectors, I can still feel it tripping over itself around a corner. The '11 GT's suspension because of it's weight is kinda clumsy.

My S13 on the other hand has a complete suspension. Coil overs, tubular adjustable control arms, solid sway bars, adjustable torsion bars, solid subframe bushings and STB's. 10 year old suspension and its still as tight as day one. Well, that's a bit of an exaggeration. She still got it is all I'm saying. One problem I've encountered with an over stiffened suspension is the body has very little flex and even with IRS when there's a serious throttle induced weight shift, the lighter wheel comes off the ground slightly.

I was horsing around on the feeder road with my S13 vs. my buddies Miata and we hit a dip in the road and my S13 caught about a foot of air and when it hit the ground there was no body scrape it was solid. :headbang:

my goal is to figure out this guys setup. His sixxer is virtually stock engine wise so i'm happy to see it do so well.

I've watched that guys video a number of times. That v6 is sick! I bet he swapped out all his suspension for tubular and changed his control arms. I can do this with my v6 but not as well. just take ur v6 up to beginning of redline turn the wheel slightly and dump the clutch. Shell drift or just slide.

If you have an S197 Mustang, you might want to head over to S197Forums. There's a guy doing it with his, he might be able to help you out.

i'd start with a proper rear end if you want to drift...that and a better gearing setup. if i recall sn95 v6's have a 2:73 rear stock and that's no bueno for drifting

my dream car is an ae86...mainly for the 4:30 gears stock in the top end model lol. such a fun little drift car...

you'll also wanna stiffen your car up a good bit. things like sub frame connectors and a rear shock tower brace would help for cheap

I used to have one. In the top right corner of the pic below. The city of Corpus Christi got on my ass about the unsavory amount of vehicles I had in my backyard. I had to sell them.
