Ok so i just finish paying off my car and i am ready to get CRAZY with mods and horsepower .What driveshaft be lighter than stock and support from 800 to 1000 hp.
I might be going with Power by the hour shop down here in florida, or a place called dynamic turbo to do my internals and turbo.

I'm still looking 3 years on mine :/. Unless I get this job I am interviewing for Tuesday.

Now to be on topic. I think AM sells an aluminum drive shaft. I don't believe it was rated to handle more power, but instead rated to be lighter. That is the only one I have seen. I also have never read about anyone upgrading the drive shaft on this car because of a power limitation. Not to say there isn't one, just maybe very few if any reach it?

PBH did my work. If you're near them go TT Lund kit if you want turbo. KOS competition was today and appears his car won dyno portion.

They free up HP
I've had shaft masters recommended to me by a few track rats. I believe DSS has/had a group but going?

Gotcha, makes more sense now:) I've got a 3.5 alum from dynomax. I wouldn't say I actually noticed any difference other than the fact that its much lighter and I like the one piece design much better. Never had a dyno comparison but after taking the old one out I can see how it would free up some hp. Install was easy, couple jack stands and prob an hour and a half under the car.

Thanks, i will be doing most of the mods myself until i get to internals and other engine components.

What do you guys think of turning the car in to a track car with a roll bar and stickers, kind of like in the picture. I am thinking gold f14 forgestar rims.
I know it is my car and my money and i can do what i want lol. I just want to see what other think maybe my idea is a little whack!

So an after market driveshaft would require a retune to gain full potential?
No tuning necessary. You're just reducing rotational mass, you don't actually gain hp. Just allowing more of your engines hp to get to the wheels(small amount)

With what you have planned a roll bar will be a must. Running under 11.5 you have to have to comply with nhra. As for the rest, I prefer a clean look so no stickers for me but done right I'm sure it could look cool.
