Just bought a 96 V6, runs great but needs some lovin. Just looking for some advice on whether to fix certain areas or just replace the parts. Also, what would be the least expensive way to get it done without making her look trashy? A few pictures are attached, more in my profile album.

Not sure how much luck you will have saving the paint. You can improve on it but it won't look new without new paint.

The rusted finder will need to be cut out or replaced. Rust is like cancer, if you don't cut it all out it will just grow. Your trunk may be surface rust. If you can sand it all out you would be ok as long as you seal it. The hood looks like sun damage, you should sand down the edges, maybe even wet sand it. Problem is you don't have much clear coat left on the hood now. The whole car could use a good wax and polish, that would take you a long way and let you see the true extent of the damage. Wash it with dish soap first then polish it with a good compound after you sand problem areas.

Good luck
