Anyone know of any sound clips. or does anyone knw how the sound. they are 40 series

40s are the 2 chambers right??? My friend has a 2000 GT with long tube headers, and o/r h pipe, and the 2 chamber flows. I like how it sounds. Not really too deep.Really loud!! sounds like an all out race car. :headbang: IMO flowmasters on v8s sound good for the most part.

and after that i'm going to get either lontubes or just an offroad x pipe. want headers but it's such a pain in the ass to put them on a GT.

this may sound like a stupid question but what does IMO mean.

Yes they were!!!! We had to unbolt the motor mounts and jack the motor up about 2 inches to get the headers in. Me personally I would just go with the o/r X pipe.

did ya'll have to disconnect any wires or anything else. other than the motor mounts

I think all we disconnected was the o2 sensors so we could drop the h pipe out of the way. we did it about 2 years ago can't exactly remember
