if the little light doesnt turn on, does that mean the fog light switch doesnt work? when i got the car it was missing the fog lights. i have the switch in the car and i can see the harness . i ordered some fogs yesterday and i tried turning on the button but it doesnt light up. is that because i dont have any fogs connected yet? or because i need a new switch? could use some help

my v6 had the oem switch from factory but no fogs of course...the switch will light up reguardless of being hooked to fogs...so either the switch is shot or it's not getting power

My GT doesn't have lights but my switch still lights up

The light should turn on if the fogs are working , check the fuse , if fuse is good, there is a relay in the fuse block in the engine compartment for the fogs, change that relay and that should fix the problem

yeah i hope its just the fuse. rght now i'll check as soon as i figure out which one is for the fogs lol

The fuse is F2.38 it's the 3rd fuse from the left on the bottom row it's a 20 amp fuse

The parking lights, or headlights on low beam, have to be on for the fog lamps to turn on. unless the wiring is altered---here's how to make the fog lights turn on independently, and still turn off with the key...
