6000K is just the color temperature of your bulbs. But the Ballast is another story. Does your car have a factory fog light switch? If not, you'll have to wire up your own fuseable link and switch off of the battery or an unused accessory port in the fuse block. I wouldn't recommend taping into your headlights or parking lights. There too much risk of over surging the circuit.

Ok, I'll put together a shopping list while you study this diagram.

This is the exact diagram I used when I installed fog lights on my Mack Truck. It's completely legitimate with guaranteed sexy results. Btw, you're gonna have to gut all that bogus wiring that was pre existing and be sure to tape off all the factory wiring that the old fogs tapped into.

You'll need...

14 gauge wire spool (black/ground)
16 gauge wire spool (red/power)
87 4 pin relay (1)
15 amp fusible links (2)
Toggle switch (1)
Assorted male and female connectors 14 & 16 gauge.
Electric tape

Small zip ties
Black plastic conduit wrap

That should just about cover it.

Here's what your relay should look like after you wire it up. Wire Cable Electrical wiring Electronic device Technology

If you go through with it, document as much as you can. I'm sure the others could make good use of a write up like this.
