I don't know where you live, but in most places, summer tires DO NOT deter from the driveability of the car at all, in fact, they enhance it.
Sure they may be a little noisy and wear out faster than you're used to, BUT, the tires are everything.
Shocks are important as well, although, I've seen some smokin' fast Coyote powered cars in F-stock, that were all stock except for 200 treadwear summer tires! Those cars, well driven, are routinely faster than the modified New Edges that dominate ESP. Hell, I've seen Coyotes in F-stock that were faster than Coyotes in ESP!!! :lol:
You'll get used to the Mustang handling... you just have to keep the front end down . :thumb:
I drove my summer tires in god awful rain and they did amazing.
