Is it really worth the money? I'm def. doing gears so should I just go ahead and do both??? My mechanic said same price for install. Whether I do one or both
Nice, I've been using the same one and it's held up well to all the abuse I put it through hahaThanks for the advice I bought one off a local parts website I found the discontinued ford racing one and got it for 160![]()
Pretty sure that's the ford part number listedWow, thats a good bit cheaper than the almost 500 dollar one I almost bought from AM.
I didnt see a brand for it on the site you posted though....
Lol I'm not down talking them or anything, hell I probably have a good review on there too for this diff, but I am worried about how it's gonna take the sticky tires I plan on putting on.. It does great for the price that's for sure300 seems a little low for the ford one I've heard higher but I guess it depends from the 48 reviews on am and the reviews on other sites as well as ford racing and the trusted name and 300 dollars difference I thought it was an easy decision.
I think im going to go ahead and get the auburn. The guys in the local jeep clubs (and my father and uncle) use a lot of their stuff, these arnt street jeeps either, and they beat the hell out of those trail rigs. The last I've seen the ford one can handle ~300whp, a random few have broke it with stock power but there was bound to be something special in that case, the auburn is worth the money if you can pay it of course, my friend called auburn up and they said its rated at 500whp with using slicks >_>
