So I just had to ask am I the only person who took delivery of their New stang and drove it straight to the local racetrack to abuse it on the Autocross course? I got a rash of comments from the announcer and other competitors because it still had the dealer plates on it and when people found out I had picked it up that morning they almost lost it.

I doubt that there are many people, on here, with brass balls enough to take the car to the track within hours of picking it up!

and it was A LOT of FUN, I never get bored driving that car, and every time I park somewhere I can't help but look back at her and smile. I just put new Pirellis on her last week and the Autocross course is calling my name, also there are some track days coming up soon and I am debating on seeing what she can do...

They are fun cars!
And it sounds like you are going to have an AWESOME time!

Road style events are my "drug" of choice also...

Although I can't say anything about Auto-x, we might have done a smokey burnout on the car before it even had 2 miles on it :whistling:

Speaking of low mileage, we've been in the 9's at the strip with less than a few hundred miles on the cars!

These cars are bought to have fun with, not to baby. Keep up the good work!

I got delivery of my 2013 on a Saturday, and drove it all day trying to use up the regular unleaded gas they filled it with, and took mine to the drag strip the following day. When I went to pay for admission, the lady at the gate thought I was there as a spectator, when I told her no, to race, she flipped. I said what better way to break it in?

Deep Impact that's awesome man! Glad to see I'm not the only one. :thumb: I love that color also, I actually went to buy a DIB 2014 and they had sold it the night before. So I special Ordered my 2014 Race Red to match our race team colors.

Thanks! My friend caught this pic that same day with his phone, and we never got to see the guy again, after the run I think he was so disappointed that a brand new car with stock tires got the jump on him:

That's hilarious! Poor Camaro never saw you coming! I had a similar experience at the Autocross course that day, on stock fuel economy tires in a "V6" mustang I smoked 5 corvettes, and about a dozen other random cars with better tires, and more power. lol

keep on keepin on. haven't had the time to take my 2015 gt yet but a friend of mine said he saw one at the track bone stock gt premium performance package pass a 12.9.... I cant wait

I couldn't help but notice this is at Atco, I guess you're local!

I've mad a ton of 12,11,10 second passes there on a few cars.

Have you ever been to our HQ in Malvern?

No I havent been there sorry, was never invited,lol. Atco is one of my favorite tracks for the bite it has and great DA, but I'm usually at Island Dragway, and Raceway Park.
That particular day going to Atco, I also managed to hit 145 on the turnpike, luckily no traffic or SP.
