So I just had to ask am I the only person who took delivery of their New stang and drove it straight to the local racetrack to abuse it on the Autocross course? I got a rash of comments from the announcer and other competitors because it still had the dealer plates on it and when people found out I had picked it up that morning they almost lost it.

Although I can't say anything about Auto-x, we might have done a smokey burnout on the car before it even had 2 miles on it :whistling:

Speaking of low mileage, we've been in the 9's at the strip with less than a few hundred miles on the cars!

I got delivery of my 2013 on a Saturday, and drove it all day trying to use up the regular unleaded gas they filled it with, and took mine to the drag strip the following day. When I went to pay for admission, the lady at the gate thought I was there as a spectator, when I told her no, to race, she flipped. I said what better way to break it in?

No I havent been there sorry, was never invited,lol. Atco is one of my favorite tracks for the bite it has and great DA, but I'm usually at Island Dragway, and Raceway Park.
That particular day going to Atco, I also managed to hit 145 on the turnpike, luckily no traffic or SP.
