So I just had to ask am I the only person who took delivery of their New stang and drove it straight to the local racetrack to abuse it on the Autocross course? I got a rash of comments from the announcer and other competitors because it still had the dealer plates on it and when people found out I had picked it up that morning they almost lost it. :D

I doubt that there are many people, on here, with brass balls enough to take the car to the track within hours of picking it up!

My hat is off to you, sir!
:thumb:

Oh, by the way, IT IS NOT ABUSE!
We like to refer to it as FUN!
Well thank you sir! :D and it was A LOT of FUN, I never get bored driving that car, and every time I park somewhere I can't help but look back at her and smile. I just put new Pirellis on her last week and the Autocross course is calling my name, also there are some track days coming up soon and I am debating on seeing what she can do...

Deep Impact that's awesome man! Glad to see I'm not the only one. :thumb: I love that color also, I actually went to buy a DIB 2014 and they had sold it the night before. So I special Ordered my 2014 Race Red to match our race team colors.

Thanks! My friend caught this pic that same day with his phone, and we never got to see the guy again, after the run I think he was so disappointed that a brand new car with stock tires got the jump on him:

That's hilarious! :D Poor Camaro never saw you coming! I had a similar experience at the Autocross course that day, on stock fuel economy tires in a "V6" mustang I smoked 5 corvettes, and about a dozen other random cars with better tires, and more power. lol
