Hi I have a 91 gt I was told when I got it to give it some revs when it first starts up for the fuel injection to get going. Otherwise it wIll choke if self out. I have a friend with a 99 and said this is normal. Just wondering if anyone has some experience with this issue. Thanks

I have a 91 GT too. Never heard of this. I live in northern Ky and have had sub zero temps outside recently. Never had an issue with it. When you turn your key over you should hear the fuel pump kick in. So id say if you have to pump the pedal any then good chance your fuel pump is or could be going bad
