So I'm having the itch to do something to my stang and i was wondering if it's possible to change the color of the gauge cluster on a 2004. are there LEDs that make it green? and if i was to order the reverse glow gauges from AM, would the colors next to the gear shifter change as well or just the gauge color. Like the "P,R,N,D" etc. would those colors change?

The kit from AM would not change the colors on the shifter, it's just a cover with wiring that goes over the original gauge cluster, and covers up the old green lighting numbers. I'm not sure if they make kits to change the actual lighting

No it won't change those are over lays only changes the look of them
If you want to change the color you can buy led lights in any color you want there are several write ups about doing this if you don't find one I can source one for you just let me know and ill post it up

Those are the ones I am talking about I have a Manuel so I don't know about the lights near the gear shift and ill post it up when I get home no problem

I have a set of the reverse glow gauges for sale.

remove your cluster there are 5 bulbs down the middle in the back of the cluster you need to change take apart front cover to gauges remove needles from cluster peal the cluster it self-mph/rpm/gas/etc now wen you remove it on the back side there is a film painted on like some what scratch that off till its clear make sure to take a pic of the needles wen your car is on and running idle let sit for a few mins then take a pic so wen u put the back on it reads correct make sure to turn car on wen puttin back on and let sit for a few also ok make sure not to push them all the way dwn then it wnt work

so after that you wont have the ugly green anymore just any color you want
