I had to do like... yoga with the goddamn thing to get it back in for a 4V swap... but it will go in. For a 2V it won't be as hard. Yeah just lay it off to the side.
Get a load leveler if you don't have one. Seriously. Get one. Hook the front 2 chains up to the tabs on the block where the alternator bolts to and for the back 2 chains pull the top 2 bell housing bolts out and then bolt them back in with the chains attached. Manifold should already be off for easy of getting to stuff and also so you don't **** it up when you pull the engine.
I always pull the engine and trans as one unit. Easy, no having to mess with it under the car etc... Comes out easy with the load leveler.
