I just received my SCT Tuner with my BAMA Tunes today. Before I upload my tunes any tips or caveats. Without going to the track should I run some 0-60 times first. Anything I should do before changing my tune? My car is a 96 SVT Cobra and is not my daily driver. Which tune should I upload the performance or track tune. I only use 93 octane gas. The car came with an old Superchips chip so i have to remove it first. Thanks for any feedback. Spiney-Dave

If its not your DD, I'd definitely run with the 93 race tune.

The first thing I did was update the handheld device (if any updates are available) and made sure I could get it working on my PC. I wanted to be ready in case they needed to email me any times. You have to load them from a PC or laptop. Are you trying to benchmark the difference from your old tune and the Bama tune?

I run the Race tune in my 2004 Mach 1 and it's my daily driver, so I don't see a problem with running that tune all the time :)! You don't need to do anything other than load the tune to your PCM and enjoy your new Bama Custom tunes!

Let me know if you run into any issues or if you have any questions. Our Bama Performance tuning specialists are here in the building Monday-Friday from 9AM-5:30PM EST and Saturday 9AM-5:30PM EST. You can hit them up directly at 888.226.9764 and they'll get you squared away!

The race tune is most effective if you actually race, since the tune focuses on top end power gains. Request the hybrid tune. It gives you the high end power of the race tune and the low end power of the performance tube. Best of both worlds.
