If u have did u stay in decent? How did it look?
They look nice! We're they flat flat black or did they have somewhat of a gloss to them?I did . i had plasti dipped my chrome cobras a few months back when i had em on my v6. it stayed looking really good for a while. i took em off cuz after being in texas heat for a while it looked like it just needed a fresh coat of plasti. i recommend it though it came out great when i had plasti dipped it.
they were a little flat black but u couldnt really tell since the car was black. but if u want u throw a shot of clear coat spray on them and they will look more glossyThey look nice! We're they flat flat black or did they have somewhat of a gloss to them?
Cool! Will the clear coat affect the durability or removal of the plastic dip?they were a little flat black but u couldnt really tell since the car was black. but if u want u throw a shot of clear coat spray on them and they will look more glossy
Plastic dip glossifier can be picked up at like Home Depot? Have u seen it in person?I plasti dipped my chrome rims and they came out nice, although I didnt do enough coats (I did 1 1/2, you're supposed to do 4-5) so there's a bit of chrome that shines through but only if the sun shines on it. But a good bit of advice is so spray about 6 inches away. When I sprayed 12 inches away, they came out rough and looking gritty. But they came out better when I sprayed them 6 inches away. While you're spraying them, do your best to make them shiny and wet looking because when it dries, it keeps that shiny(ish) look to it. If you want them to look glossy, you can get some plasti dip glossifier, although I've never tried it before.
My friend used tire cleaner on his rims and they came out glossier than mine did.
it wont affect the durability. and it makes it a little hard to remove the plasti if youre taking it off right away. if u leave it on ur wheels for a while im sure its not hard to remove it.Cool! Will the clear coat affect the durability or removal of the plastic dip?
Good to know! I'm just a lil skeptical about doing it because I have 20" chip foose wheelsit wont affect the durability. and it makes it a little hard to remove the plasti if youre taking it off right away. if u leave it on ur wheels for a while im sure its not hard to remove it.
