I own a 03 v6 mustang, and it's getting chilly here, low 40s and it's getting lower everyday, and I'll start the car and I know the heat won't just blast out the second I start it, but mustangs are known for heating up quickly. So about 3-4 minutes after I start the car the heat starts getting hot, and then about 30-60 seconds later it gets cold again, and then about 30-60secs later it's hot and it just keeps happening till where it seems it's more cold than heat. Any ideas?

The temperature gauge should slowly increase until it hits the "R" in normal, and then stay there.
After that, it could be a few possibilities. There is a bleeder bolt to remove air from system(remove bolt, fill to top, squeeze upper hose, fill to top), Fan malfunction, clogged system + heater core that needs flushed, thermostat needs replaced or was installed incorrectly.
Good luck with it, hope dats some help-
