What's up all? Just picked up my first Mustang. 1991 LX 5.0, completely unmolested except for Flowmaster exhaust. Not new to forums at all. Totally new to mustangs and V8's. Love all kinds of cars. Only issues so far is the instrument cluster. Speedometer and odometer don't work? Was told it could be the small plastic gear?

Welcome from south east of Raleigh.
It could be the one in the tail shaft of the tranny.. One bolt holds it in.. The speedo gears are cheap if that's the issue.

Thanks for the warm welcome! I've been a part of other car communities (imports) before and they were not so nice. Forum trolls run amuck amongst the import community and everyone just hates each others car and usually talk crap. The few posts of my car I've made on here have been warmly accepted and nice comments made about it. The quality of conversation here has been nice. You will be seeing me for a long time.
