Ok so I got a 00 GT with a standard transmission. I recently had the clutch replaced. The problem now is that the clutch pedal is really shaky when the car is running. any ideas as to what might be the problem? And also I'm having problems in getting my reverse gear to go in, it shifts forward fine but I have a hard time getting it into reverse.

The Tremec T45 is notorious for being a bear to get into reverse. Sorry you got short end of the stick before Ford switched the GT to the TR3650. Pop it into 5th and then back into reverse to override the reverse gear since 5 and R are on the same linkage; that's what I always did back when I had my v6 with the T45.
As for the shaking, I'd guess a misaligned clutch or marred flywheel. Did you have it resurfaced? (I'm sure you did, but that still crops up every once in a whole)

Ok thanks bro I'll try that tomorrow. And as for the other part my dad did the job and I'm pretty sure he did it right except he did mention he resurfaced something not sure what he called it but he just doesn't have the right tools at home and that my be my problem.

I tightened the clutch cable and the shaking on the pedal has stopped. Hopefully that was it.

Mhm. Ok.
Moving from a $6-7k car to a $30k+ car simply because you don't like the car you have now and when you clearly do no have sufficient funding to purchase said Shelby.
I honestly wish you the very best of luck with that.

Who said I don't have sufficient funding?? I have 4k in the bank and their asking 6k I figured instead of wasting 4gs on trying to get a car running good and making it faster I'll just buy one that has everything I want.

A. A Shelby is NOT 6k
B. an old SVT cobra might be 6k
C. For 6k, that cobra is either old as balls, beat to death, or probably both. Good luck keeping that junker running.
D. SVT does not equal Shelby. At least get your brands right if you're going to drive these cars.

6K as a down payment idiot the car cost 52,000. I know my brands genius
You directly stated, "their [they're*] asking 6k".
You said that the car was valued at six thousand dollars, which is not Shelby material.
Do not criticize me for your ignorant mistakes.
If you only have 6k to use as a downpayment AFTER you sell your vehicle and will owe 46-48k after tag, title, and tax, seriously think about whether this is a smart idea or not.
