I was wondering if anybody has seen or even have any kind of hood pin kits for a 2013 mustang. If so please post a pic.
Check American muscle? Do the 11-12 year ones fit?redbeast0712 said:I was wondering if anybody has seen or even have any kind of hood pin kits for a 2013 mustang. If so please post a pic.
I installed some shelby hood pins on a 06 mustang one time but the hoods on the 06 are more flat. I just wanted to see if anyone got them done so i could have a good confident install on my 13.primer2tone said:Any hood pin kit you buy would work for your 2013. Is there a particular style you like?
I did some searching and couldn't find anything. All I can find is the 'hood pin appearance kit'.redbeast0712 said:I installed some shelby hood pins on a 06 mustang one time but the hoods on the 06 are more flat. I have a fiberglass hood. I'd be scared that I'd destroy it lol.primer2tone said:This might be a little overkill but this is what I did to my old hood on my '11. http://www.mustangevolution.com/forum/showthread.php?p=1052336 Take a gander.![]()
Nice. I'll pick some up and swing over to Texas and pay you to do another install. Hahaprimer2tone said:Thanks. I had spent the better part of the day and most of the night installing them. I probably measured my cuts 50 different ways before I actually cut into it.
I've got a CF cowl hood now and soon I'll be doing the install again.
Lets do it! I'd love to check out your mustang in person!08SteedaQ350 said:Nice. I'll pick some up and swing over to Texas and pay you to do another install. Haha

As a finish carpenter, patience is virtue. I it was easy, everyone would do itprimer2tone said:There's no easy install if you put them on corners of the hood. You gotta pull the front end apart. If you install them more towards the middle, you can use the holes in the radiator bracket.s That would be really easy but IMO the hard way looks best.
