I just got a 2006 Ford Mustang for my graduation present. The problem is, is that it is automatic. Can I make it sound tough maybe with a dual exhaust or something even though it's automatic? What other parts could I use?
I love Ford, but I have never heard of a 5.1L V6 lol. Dunno where that motor came from but anyways, the V6 will truly sound like garbage any day of the week. I think it actually sounds worse when custom mufflers are on it cuz it just doesn't have the rumble of might V8's. The V6 will be fine stock, don't spend all your money upgrading it. Save it and get a GT, but if you must modify the V6, then I gues go with the Ultimate in exhaust, the Kings... Flowmaster.
You neglected to include what engine you have. Regardless a larger exhaust with a free flowing muffler(s) setup will improve the tone coming out of the tailpipe. Borla and MagnaFlow make nice exhaust systems with a good note.
The Exhaust you have a link to is for a Shelby or GT both are V-8s and already are piped for Dual exhaust. You'll need to get a kit specifically designed for your V6. Below is a link to MagnaFlow's site that details what is available for your car. Make sure you look at the V6 stuff!
