Tinting my windows this week how dark for the windows ? I have a new edge. Black convert

If you don't mind not having the greatest visibility at night go 5% all around. I personally like 20% its nice and dark in the day time but you can still see fine through the windows at night.

yes i think you will like that i did 20% on sides and back and 35% on front and i think the contrast looks good personally i wished i did 5% on sides and 20% on front but car is under dads insurance so i had to do what he wanted haha but i still like it and i think you'll be happy with it

5% on rear windows. 20% on the front passenger and driver windows. The tint will be dark enough to keep prying eyes out of your vehicle but still light enough to not be a problem when driving at night.

Go as dark as you want, if you got the cash for all the fines. Lol. Otherwise don't do it at all, 75% isn't worth it. Here in Michigan the legal limit is 25%, and you can't have any on the the front windows. But they generally don't mess you over tint, and anytime I've been pulled for it they usually see my units decal and then they are like, "Are you in the Army?.. I don't mess with vets and military, so you can just go!.." Lol

The limit is only for front windows, rears and back windshield can be any... I'll probably get whatever for mine, i drive with the windows down 80% of the time.

Don't want to be a downer...but I would suggest looking at your DMV website to procure the legal limit fr your state. In Illinois we can not tint at all.

35% is legal if your doing rears and sides . Me personally have 10% on my rear window and quarter windows but don't have the sides tinted . Which is legal I just can't Tint sides unless I make them all 35% and I'm afraid to remove tint from rear window

Thanks...I will look back not this. Three years ago I was cited by State Trooper for tinted windows and was required to remove from my passenger and driver front window and I believe it was a 50% tint. In any case I will revisit the law and would love to tint again.
