remove both passenger and driver side air bags from a1997 Mustang GT Convertible?? Parting it out, and don't want to do it the wrong way and have them explode in my face!! lol. Thanks!
your air bag has a reserve battery on it so even if you disconnect all the power there is always a possibility that it will explode if you don't know what you re doing,
take it to a shop,,or have a qualified tech do it ,
once you take the fuse or take the battery out by disconnecting it.the air bag will not deploy.also be safe and duct tape the one on the steering wheel.
