Wrong again Pete. This is getting to be a usual thing with you.
There is a paint that looks exactly like chrome and is applied in several steps. I have seen it, but have yet to apply any of it. Since I haven't had the chance to try it yet I have no idea exactly how much it would cost to paint a car with that kind of paint, but you can count on it costing several thousand dollars as it is a very labor intensive process.
Wilbur, I am not talking about chrome paint from an aerosol can, that is cheesy. I am talking about an automotive paint that is done in several layers, just like chrome plating, and very closely resembles real chrome. Google it and see for yourself.
