I have a serious inquiry about the strength of the stock 2013 5.0 engine and driveline. It is an automatic, if that matters.

I am interested in getting more power out of my engine and stuff for these vehicles are not cheap. I just need to know what exactly I should be setting money aside for.

I read about all of these companies offering 600 rwhp supercharger kits running on the stock engine and transmission, so is this a good indication of the engine and driveline strength?

It's all in the tune and people have ran em to 700 but I usually see them run em between 550-600

Dang, hopefully my Paxton is nice to me. The kit from Paxton put me at 559rwhp, That's with their sent tune, real conservative.

The new 5.0's have verry weak ring lands. And this one failed at 546
Could just be a bad ring. I've seen a lot pushing 600 hp or more with stock and no problems. First time I've heard of this happening. Even then get a charger that has full warranty for factory warranty and have nothing to worry about til it's gone
