You are asking a question that is geographically sensitive. What I mean by that is it depends on where you live and how many salvage yards are either loaded up with your type car or on the other hand may not have any of your type cars. You need to call three salvage yards in your area and price the part from them. This will give you an idea as to the true value of your part. Also ask each one if they have your part in stock and if they give warranties and what the warranty is. I`ll give you a good tip. When dealing with used parts it is better to sell them with out a warranty and to do this you may have to discount your part just a little under the price of the ones at the salvage yards. Most salvage yards give 30 days around here but that's different in other areas of the country. Rear ends around here in really good shape and low miles will bring up to 750.00 depending on the gear ratio. But, if the salvage yards have a load of the same rear ends yours in your area may not bring no more than a 100.00 bucks. It all depends on availability and how long they last before they wear out. Some parts last for ever and you can`t give used ones away. Right now I`m sitting on seven 9 inch for rear ends and two 8.8`s with disk brakes. They have been in my stock pile for several years now. I hope this helps.
