The short answer is I don’t know. It looks just like mine with a phase 3 under the hood, minus the Roush emblems. The signature in your aluminum air-bag cover is a decal. I’ve never seen that before, but that doesn’t mean they don’t do that. It seems very unrealistic to believe that JR signed everything by hand. He’d be one busy guy. Don‘t get me wrong, I’ve met him and he’s very energetic, but hey, a guy can only do so much.

If I were you, I would call Tindol Ford in Gastonia, NC. You can talk to a Roush specialist who can clear it up. In fact, you can even chat online with one, and send your pics. I only live a few miles away and have been there a few times. Always a great experience.

I think Recon or straybullitt might have a Roush. If so, either would probably know more about this than I do.

I bought my 2007 427R right off the showroom in Charleston SC when I was stationed there. I took several pictures of the 2 427R mustangs in the showroom. My car was in the local newspaper, I got several copies from the newspaper company, and I’ve kept all the paperwork. I went to Tindal Ford to a car show and Jack was there signing autographs. They lined all the cars up, drove thru the service garage and he was only signing one spot per car. I had him sign my dash, airbag. It’s amazing to see how his signature is sooo different! His signature is not the same every time he signs something, which sucks! I can’t remember what year it was but it’s between 2008-2012? I have babied my car but I’ve got lots of issues with the clear coat and the chrome on the wheels!! I called ROUSH Dept and complained. Told them I’d never pay $50k again for a car like this bc the paint is factory, and if u drive it or it’s outside, it won’t last long! I’ve done lots of aftermarket upgrades. Still a lot of fun to drive.
