Supercharger or turbo. Forged internals. Cold air, tune and poof. All the power you can handle lol.
Do you plan on keeping the bottom end stock or forging it?I have a 2007 Ford Mustang GT 4.6 L V8. I want to have at least 500 hp and be street legal. I was thinking of a supercharger, any recommendations?
forged internalsWell if I have to forge it I will, so over 450 hp And I risk blowing my engine? Well how can I prevent that?
AmericanMuscle is the weekend warrior, brenspeed is for the people serious about performanceThanks guys Ill start looking up those parts thru American Muscle.
You may as well just get Brenspeed's B326 block, built and ready to go.Stay under 450 hp. Forged internals will run you $2, 669 from brenspeed, I've sound them to have the best out together set with arp studs, gaskets, rings, etc. Then payimg for them to be installed and balanced you are looking at another $1, 500. For recommendations, I recommend the too 3; whipple HO (Twin screw), Kenne Bell mammoth (Twin screw) and hellion/sts (Turbo/TT)
Well, he has a bigger more powerful engine than you right now so if he is talking smack then he is as ignorant as most clowns who drive that ugly GTO. You don't need to touch the internals to smoke that dude just go FI with long tubes, a good full exhaust and you will put down about 450 to 480 to the wheels which will be more than enough to smoke him. I am running the Brenspeed Vortech V3 package and I'm at 490 to the wheels. $4K for the pack and about another $2K for the exhaust and cams and you are there. Good luck!Caster Troy, I like Face off great movie! Talk to me about the Iron block. Please.
I dont have a shop, muchless the time. My Mustang is stock, just a week ago I went to our local weekend track, and a 2005 GTO smoked me pretty bad.
Then he started talking smack about Ford. I am all for American cars, but Mustang was my first sports car. I love my Ford Mustang.
Most will say 450 is a safe zone. Ive seen and met others with a little more and been ok for years. Stay under 500 and you will be good. Just the more you creep over 450 the more stress is going on your pony. How much boost can stock inernals hold? or in order to install a turbo internals must be changed?
