I need guidance for more horsepower

I have a 2007 Ford Mustang GT 4.6 L V8. I want to have at least 500 hp and be street legal. I was thinking of a supercharger, any recommendations?

Cool no that being said. Is it possible to peice together my own tuerbo setup instead of buying a kit or just better off buying a kit

Yes it is possible, if you know what you're doing. Check out on3performance first though.
Sure thing I appreciate the input
You may as well just get Brenspeed's B326 block, built and ready to go.
so what kinda warranty would he get with brenspeeds engine ?!?! promar performance engines gave me a 1 year warranty in writing !! two years later its still handling my daily abuse with 20+ psi of boost :p
Well, he has a bigger more powerful engine than you right now so if he is talking smack then he is as ignorant as most clowns who drive that ugly GTO. You don't need to touch the internals to smoke that dude just go FI with long tubes, a good full exhaust and you will put down about 450 to 480 to the wheels which will be more than enough to smoke him. I am running the Brenspeed Vortech V3 package and I'm at 490 to the wheels. $4K for the pack and about another $2K for the exhaust and cams and you are there. Good luck!
Explain FI exhaust please, I am on American Muscle website and cannot find any fi exhaust

"Run what you brung". The talking smack part? Yeah, stupid but doesn't negate anything about the GTO.

That is the problem with our 3V Stang, we are dumping a lot of money in it to be as quick as other cars are out of the box. Now, 490 to the wheels is about 140 WHP more than a GTO has stock. So you're definitely raping them, but the same can be said for the GTO if he modded.

Comparing modded cars to a stock car is a sore losers move. Not you personally, just in general.

FI is forced induction. WHich is turbo or supercharger. There is no FI Exhaust.
Lol at Fi exhaust
Well I guess in theory all exhausts are forced induction! :)
Yea yea I am a rookie at this.

An exhaust LITERALLY is the opposite of induction. Like EXACT opposite lol.

Intake is to induct, exhaust is to let out or, EXHAUST. lol
I think he meant it is literally being forced into the exhaust pipe by the piston...that's how I took it anyways?

Even so, the piston compression provided the induction.

I was just being equally sarcastically technical :)
Hahah right! So technically the piston compressed the air into the exhaust manifold...damn it guys quit being smart asses!! Haha

+1. I was being sarcastic without getting all technical!
